Synopsis
Imager's Challenge is the second book of the Imager Portfolio, continuing directly after Rhennthyl's admission to the Collegium of Imagisle in L'Excelsis. Now a newly trained imager still learning the limits of his dangerous ability, Rhenn must adjust to life within the insular world of the Collegium while navigating the political currents that run through the wider city of Solidar's capital. Five years later, as depicted in the following book, he has risen to Civic Patrol Captain, but this volume covers the intervening period in which he sharpens his imaging skills and is drawn into the kind of factional intrigue and danger that come with being one of the city's most closely watched and least understood residents.
