Synopsis

Set in the world of Sartorias-deles, in the southern warrior kingdom of Iasca Leror, Inda follows the title character, Indevan-Dal, from age ten to sixteen. As the second son of the Prince of Choraed Elgaer, Inda's future has already been decided for him: tradition dictates that he will grow up to serve as Shield-Arm, sworn protector to his older brother Tanrid. To prepare him for that role, he is sent away from home to train at the King's Academy alongside the sons of other noble Marlovan families, even as rumors of looming war circulate through the kingdom. First published in 2006, Inda belongs to the Inda series.
