Synopsis
Ink Blood Sister Scribe follows two half-sisters who were raised apart from ordinary life to guard their family's collection of magical, handwritten books, each of which carries its own binding spell and its own danger to those who read or copy it. After a decade of estrangement, one sister living quietly in Vermont and the other stationed in the isolation of Antarctica, the two are pulled back together when their father dies suddenly, killed by one of the very enchanted volumes he spent his life protecting. His death forces the sisters to confront the secrets he kept from them about the library's true nature and origins, as they travel between continents trying to piece together what happened and what threats, tied to the family's inherited books and duties, are now closing in around them.
