Synopsis
Tucker Case is a pilot whose career stalls after he crashes his cosmetics company's plane while distracted by sex. Unable to fly in the United States, he accepts a generous offer from a doctor and missionary on a remote Micronesian island to carry cargo between the island and Japan. On the island he lives with Kimi, a Filipino trans woman who serves as his navigator, and a talking fruit bat. Tucker discovers that the doctor and his wife are secretly harvesting organs from the islanders, who follow a cargo cult, and selling them to buyers in Japan.
