Synopsis
Private investigator Felix Gomez, a vampire, faces a ravenous army of zombies. To deal with the threat he needs help from a precocious teenager with clairvoyant powers, who will assist him only if he makes her immortal. The novel is the fourth in Mario Acevedo's satirical supernatural series, in which Felix, a former infantryman who became a vampire, works as a private detective and navigates the hidden society of the undead. Published by Eos in 2009, the book continues the series' mix of hard-boiled detective fiction, horror and dark humor, here centered on a zombie outbreak and a difficult bargain.
