Synopsis
Felix Gomez, a vampire detective, takes on a werewolf cabal as a bloody civil war brews between rival werewolf factions. He also faces the return of an ex-girlfriend and vampires who want him dead. The novel is the fifth book in Mario Acevedo's satirical supernatural series, published by Eos in 2010. The series follows Felix, a former infantryman turned vampire, as he works as a private investigator and finds himself caught between the hidden societies of the undead and other creatures. The book keeps the series' blend of detective fiction, horror and humor while widening the cast of supernatural factions he must contend with.
