Synopsis
The keep is in decline. Raiders attack its outer walls, and goblins and orcs roam the countryside, ambushing trade caravans and killing merchants. Dark-robed priests walk the walls and then vanish into the wilderness. A band of hired adventurers sets out for the Caves of Chaos to end the unrest, though the borderlands may never be fully safe again. The novel is based on the classic adventure module of the same name.
