Overview
Greyhawk is the campaign world of Oerth, created by Gary Gygax for Dungeons & Dragons and published as a setting in 1980. Gygax's Gord the Rogue novels, begun in 1985, follow an orphan thief from the slums of the city of Greyhawk across the continent and beyond. Rose Estes wrote five Greyhawk Adventures novels from 1987 to 1989, centred on the Wolf Nomad shaman Mika. Robin Wayne Bailey's Night Watch followed in 1990. From 1999 to 2002 TSR and Wizards of the Coast published seven Greyhawk Classics novels by Ru Emerson, Paul Kidd, Thomas M. Reid and Keith Francis Strohm, each retelling a classic adventure module. Andre Norton's Quag Keep (1978), about gamers drawn into the world, predates the setting's publication; its sequel Return to Quag Keep, with Jean Rabe, appeared in 2006.
