Synopsis
Lakewalker Barr Foxbrush returns from two years patrolling against magical threats to find that his secret daughter, born to a farmer girl and never publicly acknowledged, has vanished from her home after facing serious accusations. Barr sets out to find her, forced to confront his past mistakes and his responsibilities toward her future within the Lakewalker and farmer cultures of the Sharing Knife world.
