Synopsis
Lake Silence is the sixth book set in the World of the Others and the first of a spin-off trilogy. Recently divorced Vicki DeVine is trying to rebuild the Jumble, a rundown lakeside resort in the small village of Sproing that she received as part of her divorce settlement, hoping for a quiet fresh start far from her old life. When she and her mysterious shapeshifter lodger stumble upon a dead body near the property, Vicki finds herself drawn into a web of danger and long-buried secrets in a world where humans remain far from the most powerful predators around.
