Synopsis
Last Sacrifice, the sixth and final novel in the original Vampire Academy series, opens with Rose Hathaway thrown into Moroi jail after being framed for the murder of the Moroi queen, facing the prospect of execution for a crime she did not commit. She is broken out of prison by a group of allies, including Eddie, Adrian, Abe, and Dimitri Belikov, and goes on the run to clear her name while the political world of the Moroi is thrown into turmoil over the succession crisis left by the queen's death. At the same time, Rose must help locate a secret, illegitimate relative of princess Vasilisa Dragomir, since restoring the Dragomir bloodline could determine whether Lissa has any claim to the throne. Traveling with Alchemist Sydney Sage and Dimitri, Rose relies on unlikely allies while both her own fate and Lissa's future hang in the balance.
