Synopsis
Jonathan Starling and Mr Carnegie investigate a murder in Darkside. The victim was killed in the same way as a notorious Darkside figure twelve years earlier, which raises the question of whether the two crimes are connected. Jonathan also learns that his missing mother was a reporter for Darkside's newspaper and vanished around the time of the earlier murder, so he believes the crimes are connected.
