Synopsis
Nighttrap is the third book in the Darkside series, set in a hidden world that runs parallel to London. Jonathan's friend Mrs Ellwood has been kidnapped by a vampire named Vendetta. Vendetta will free her only in exchange for the Crimson Stone, a valuable gem owned by Xavier, an elderly collector obsessed with antiques. Jonathan recruits a skilled team of thieves to break into Xavier's heavily guarded home. Once inside, he discovers Xavier's monstrous true nature, and the stone stays out of his grasp.
