Synopsis
Robyn Peltier is a grieving public relations consultant with no knowledge of the supernatural world around her. When a reckless killer breaks the barrier between the supernatural and human worlds, Robyn becomes the prime suspect in the murder of her client. Her friend Hope Adams, a tabloid journalist, has to bring her into the Otherworld to keep her safe. Robyn is soon caught in a turf war between two supernatural races. The story is told by several characters, including Hope, the clairvoyant Adele Morrissey, Robyn and the necromancer John Findlay.
