Synopsis

Cormac Bennett is a paranormal assassin who hunts dangerous werewolves and carries a second consciousness in his own mind. In this novel, centred on him rather than Kitty, he investigates a century-old murder in a Colorado mining town. The case may also help him decode a mysterious journal whose secrets could matter to Kitty and her allies. A framing sequence featuring Kitty Norville ties the story back to the main series.

Notes

  • Centred on Cormac Bennett; numbered thirteenth in the series.
