Overview
Carrie Vaughn's Kitty Norville series runs to fourteen novels, from Kitty and the Midnight Hour (2005) to Kitty Saves the World (2015). Kitty is a werewolf who hosts a late-night radio call-in show in Denver, taking questions from vampires, werewolves and other supernatural listeners in a world where most people do not know such beings exist. Over the books she becomes a public figure, leads a werewolf pack, and gets drawn into vampire politics and a long-running plot by the ancient vampire Roman. Recurring characters include her husband Ben, the hunter Cormac and the vampire Rick. Low Midnight (2014) centres on Cormac. Tor published the last novel in 2015 and called it the final book of the series.
