Synopsis
Kitty Norville returns to Denver when her mother falls seriously ill, and finds herself face to face with the abusive werewolf pack she left a year earlier. At the same time a conflict between the city's two oldest vampires threatens the whole supernatural community, and Kitty is pressed to choose a side. With her family, her partner and her own safety at stake, she has to decide how far she is willing to go, and whether she is ready to challenge the wolves who once drove her out.
