Synopsis

Mister Impossible is the second novel in the Dreamer Trilogy and follows directly on from Call Down the Hawk, opening with the revelation that the hidden source powering every dreamer's ability is failing, threatening the survival of dreamers everywhere. Ronan Lynch works with a mentor figure to try to find a way to save the failing dream source, regardless of what it costs him personally. Meanwhile Jordan Hennessy searches the dangerous underworld of dream-forged objects and people for a way to sustain her own borrowed existence, and Carmen Farooq-Lane, whose task has been to hunt down dangerous dreamers, finds her resolve complicated by her growing feelings for the people she was sent to stop. The book follows these three intersecting struggles as the stakes for every dreamer rise.

Notes

  • From the series record (The Dreamer Trilogy): A direct continuation focused on Ronan Lynch, a supporting character from The Raven Cycle; requires the first series to be read first.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
