Synopsis
Night's Sorceries is the fifth and concluding volume of Tanith Lee's Tales from the Flat Earth series, gathering a further set of interlinked, legend-like tales that bring the sagas of Azhrarn and the other Lords of Darkness toward their close. Continuing the series' mythic, Arabian Nights-inflected storytelling, it follows the demon lords as their long history of intervention in mortal affairs comes full circle, drawing together threads from the earlier books' cosmology of gods, demons and doomed humans. As in the preceding volumes, the narrative unfolds as a sequence of connected episodes rather than a single continuous plot, closing out the series' account of the Flat Earth's supernatural order.
