Synopsis
In Prague a secret group of vigilantes calling itself the Night Club hunts down violent criminals the police cannot touch. The story opens as the group stops a deranged couple who have kidnapped a girl; the couple die and the girl is saved. Tobias, brought up by the group since infancy, is one of its most committed members. Then an accident nearly wipes the group out, and the survivors believe Tobias is dead. In fact he has been turned into a vampire, and he wakes on a modern pirate ship in Southeast Asia, controlled by an immortal woman and her henchmen. Tobias refuses to serve her and starts planning his escape, determined to get back to Prague and carry on punishing the guilty. The book mixes horror, fantasy, adventure and black humour.
