Synopsis
After Magic, Spells, and Illusions, Inc. (MSI) defeats its rival, Spellworks, Katie Chandler, the company's marketing director, finds she has little to do and begins to question her role there. Her boyfriend, the wizard Owen Palmer, is delighted to be translating an ancient and powerful magical manuscript. Katie is immune to magic, which has long set her apart in the hidden magical community of New York City where MSI operates. The book is the sixth in the Enchanted, Inc. series, an adult urban fantasy series that combines romance and workplace comedy, and it follows Katie as she looks for a new purpose after the company's long conflict has ended.
