Synopsis

O Fado da Sombra, published by Filipe Faria in 2009, is the sixth volume of the Crónicas de Allaryia. With the old gods of Allaryia already dead and the realm teetering on the edge of chaos, Aewyre Thoryn and his companions uncover a secret conspiracy tied to the Scourge and its long-hidden designs, becoming the only ones aware of just how close the threat has already grown. Multiple dangers converge at once: renegade servants of Seltor plot against the house of Ul-Thoryn, while a far older menace draws near the Pérola do Sul, the Pearl of the South, threatening to break the last resistance capable of standing against the Scourge. Racing against time on several fronts, Aewyre's company confronts a turning point the author has described as one after which nothing in Allaryia will be the same again.

Notes

  • From the series record (Crónicas de Allaryia): A continuous saga of 10 numbered volumes (2002-2026), with a publication gap of almost a decade between the 7th volume (Oblívio, 2011) and the 8th (A Oitava Era, 2020). The Portuguese press reported the saga's conclusion in 2026 ('10th volume after 25 years'). No source indicates any divergence between publication order and internal chronological order.
