Synopsis
A collection built around the concluding entry in the Vows and Honor sequence, gathering Mercedes Lackey's previously published short fiction about the sword-sworn warrior Tarma and the sorceress Kethry alongside a new novella. Bound since their first meeting by an oath that ties their fates together, the two women have built a partnership combining martial skill and magic in service of those who need protection. The stories collected here follow them through a series of later adventures as they continue to answer calls to action, whether defending the vulnerable, settling old debts, or facing threats that only their combined talents can meet. Together the pieces trace the broader arc of Tarma and Kethry's long partnership as sword-sister and mage, rounding out the trilogy that began with The Oathbound and Oathbreakers.
