Synopsis

Queen of Sorcery continues directly from Pawn of Prophecy, following Garion and his companions, including Aunt Pol, the old man called Mister Wolf, and their growing circle of allies, as they press on through a succession of kingdoms in pursuit of the stolen Orb. As the journey continues, subtle hints accumulate that Garion himself possesses untapped abilities tied to the same power wielded by his guardians. The group faces pursuit from agents serving the god Torak and his followers, who are equally determined to recover or control the Orb for their own purposes. Tension builds around Garion's growing awareness of forces within himself that he does not yet understand, even as the immediate goal remains reaching safety and staying ahead of enemies converging on their trail from multiple directions.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
