Synopsis
A prequel to Poppy, this is the story of Ragweed, the golden mouse Poppy loved and lost, before he ever came to Dimwood Forest. Restless at home, the young Ragweed sets out on his own to see the wider world and finds himself in a human town, where he makes unlikely friends and must face the menace of the cat Silversides, in a crackerjack adventure of courage and loyalty that sets the stage for the later Dimwood Forest tales.
