Synopsis
Nyx returns to her homeland of Nasheen, which is in turmoil after the long war. Unemployed ex-soldiers are pushing the country towards civil war, and an alien ship hangs over the capital. The kidnapping of a political leader could trigger a violent change of regime, and the missing woman is someone Nyx once left for dead. Nyx gathers a team of shape-shifters, interrogators and bio-technology specialists to find her. Saving one life may be the only way to save a country, while the aliens in the sky wait to see what the people below will do.
