Synopsis

Requiem of Silence is the finale of L. Penelope's Earthsinger Chronicles, following Cry of Metal & Bone. The defeated True Father returns to seek magical power and to reclaim Elsira, the kingdom once ruled by his twin sister, the goddess Oola. Queen Jasminda leads a divided kingdom through political unrest, including the arrival of refugees and violence from Elsiran extremists. Kyara, the former assassin known as the Poison Flame, must master her destructive Nethersinger power in order to defeat the True Father. Publishers Weekly praises the novel's magic, politics and well-developed female characters. The novel was published by Griffin as a trade paperback of about 576 pages, and it brings the series to its conclusion.
