Synopsis
A dismissed Parisian ballet dancer, Ninette, encounters a mysterious talking cat who offers her a highly unusual proposition: travel to Blackpool, England, and impersonate a renowned but reclusive Russian ballerina at a struggling music hall. Ninette accepts out of desperation, unaware that the cat is in fact an Elemental Spirit secretly shielding her from a dark supernatural threat connected to her own hidden heritage. As she settles into her new identity and the demanding world of English music-hall performance, Ninette must contend with rivalries within the theater and the growing danger the cat has been quietly working to keep at bay, all while uncovering truths about her own past that complicate the deception she is living.
