Synopsis
Lanie Stones is the daughter of Liriat's Royal Assassin and Chief Executioner, born into a family whose power rests on death magic, yet cursed with a severe allergy to violence that makes her unlike any of her ancestors. Raised largely apart from her relatives by the ancient revenant Goody Graves, she has spent her childhood sheltered from the family trade.
