Synopsis
Ian is a reckless master vampire about two centuries old who has made many enemies, among them a demon named Dagon who claims his soul. Veritas is a Law Guardian, a vampire who enforces the rules against offenders like Ian, and she has her own score to settle with Dagon. She recruits Ian to help destroy the demon, planning to use him as bait. As they search for a place to set the trap, each finds hidden depths in the other, and a pretend partnership begins to turn into something real.
