Synopsis
She Who Knows, a prequel novella to Nnedi Okorafor's Who Fears Death, follows Najeeba, a young woman of the salt-mining Osunu people, who begins working alongside the men of her family after hearing a mysterious call at age thirteen; an encounter with a witch awakens dormant magical powers within her, even as her family stumbles on a strange, dangerous salt cube.
