Synopsis
Farin of Hawkcrest Hold, once a Knight of Westria and later known as Farin Harper, has become a wanderer skilled in music, magic and swordplay, and is called Silverhair. Years earlier his sister, Queen Faris, vanished along with her child, the heir to the Westrian throne. Farin spends his wanderings searching for them, travelling a world of sorcery and combat while a powerful evil wizard pursues him. The search takes about twenty years, and the novel follows him from kingdom to kingdom as he looks for any trace of the missing boy.
