Synopsis
Set in Britain in the period after Roman rule has ended, Sistersong follows the three children of King Cador, Keyne, Riva, and Sinne, each grappling in their own way with questions of identity, power, and desire as change arrives in their father's kingdom alongside the mysterious traveler Myrdhin. As Myrdhin's presence begins to unsettle the family's dynamics and the kingdom's fragile stability, each of Cador's children is drawn toward choices that will test their loyalty to their family and to themselves, set against the gathering pressure of the coming Anglo-Saxon invasion. Loosely based on the folk ballad known as the Twa Sisters, the novel weaves myth and magic through this family's story as much older tensions rise to the surface.
