Synopsis
Gwen has a destiny to fulfil, but no one will tell her what it is. She has only recently learned that she is the Ruby, the final member of the time-travelling Circle of Twelve, and since then nothing has gone right. She suspects that the founder of the Circle, Count Saint-Germain, is up to something nefarious, but nobody will believe her, and she has just learned that her charming time-travelling partner, Gideon, has probably been using her all along. The conclusion of Kerstin Gier's trilogy picks up where the second book left off and reaches new heights of intrigue and romance as Gwen finally uncovers the secrets of the time-travelling society and learns her fate. Published in English as Emerald Green.

Notes
- From the series record (Edelstein-Trilogie): German original titles used as canonical (Rubinrot/Saphirblau/Smaragdgrün, Arena Verlag, 2009-2010), matching this canon's standing original-title convention for foreign-language-original works (see the Wellenläufer-Trilogie precedent). English translations by Anthea Bell: Ruby Red (2011), Sapphire Blue (2012), Emerald Green (2013).
