Synopsis

Song of Homana continues the Chronicles of the Cheysuli as Prince Carillon, having spent years in exile, returns to reclaim his homeland of Homana from the usurper Bellam, who has ruled the kingdom under tyranny for five years. To retake his throne, Carillon must raise and rally an army, a task complicated by the deep-seated fear and prejudice most Homanans hold toward the Cheysuli, the shapeshifting people who have themselves been persecuted, hunted, and driven into hiding during Bellam's reign. Carillon's campaign depends on forging an uneasy alliance with the very Cheysuli his countrymen distrust, setting the stage for a war to liberate Homana while confronting the ignorance dividing its people.

Notes

  • From the series record (Chronicles of the Cheysuli): One continuous eight-book saga, all Core Canon; publication order and internal chronology agree (each volume advances the same generational timeline in the order published).

Neighbouring works

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings, but they resolve to the exact same sequence for this book, so one combined line is shown instead of two identical ones.
