Synopsis
Spirit Walker continues the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness series as a mysterious sickness begins to spread among the forest clans, striking hunters and threatening entire communities as the illness resists every remedy the clans already know. Torak, still accompanied by his wolf companion and his friend Renn, sets out toward the distant seal islands in search of a cure, following fragmented clues about a people who may hold the knowledge needed to stop the sickness from spreading further. During the journey, Torak discovers a new and unsettling aspect of his own abilities: the capacity to send his spirit into the bodies of animals, experiencing the world through their senses in ways that prove both useful and disorienting. As he grows more confident in this new skill, Torak must balance its potential to help find a cure against the danger of losing himself in a form not his own.
