Synopsis
Tamson House, in modern Ottawa, is a rambling, eccentric curiosity of a house and a place of hidden power: built where the leylines meet, on land that was once a sacred site, it is a gateway to a spirit world where Celtic and Native American magics mingle and leak into our own. Its overgrown garden opens, one spirit-step away, onto a vast and primal wood. In four linked tales that together form a sequel to Moonheart, the House's household of artists and misfits faces new assaults: Emma Fenn, who can speak with trees, is rescued from renegade faeries by the former biker Blue and by Esmeralda Foylan, a seeker of ancient truths, and joins the House; a modern magician, Albert Watkins, schemes to seize its power and immortality from the spirit of Jamie Tamson, its former owner, and Sara Kendell, its heir, must fight to save it.

Notes
- From the series record (Tamson House): Charles de Lint's Ottawa novels of Tamson House, the block-sized mansion that is a gateway between the modern city and a spirit world of Celtic and Native American magic: Moonheart and its sequel Spiritwalk, a fix-up of four linked tales. The author's own bibliography groups them as his Ottawa books, distinct from Newford.
