Synopsis
Steles of the Sky brings the Eternal Sky trilogy to its climax, following Temur as he moves to reclaim his birthright and reunite the scattered clans of his people against his cousin's usurping rule, while the wider threat posed by the sorcerer al-Sepehr and his fanatical followers continues to spread beyond the immediate steppe conflict that began the series. Samarkar, now more fully trained in her wizardly abilities, works alongside Temur and their allies gathered across the first two novels to confront both the political fracture within Temur's khaganate and the deeper magical menace threatening the wider world beneath its many skies. The novel draws together the political, personal, and magical threads built up across Range of Ghosts and Shattered Pillars as the trilogy's central conflicts converge.
