Synopsis
Georgina Kincaid is an immortal succubus leading a carefully divided life in Seattle: by day she manages the Emerald City Books and Cafe bookstore, and by night she serves the interests of Hell, tempting morally weak men into sin to earn points for her infernal side and to recharge the magical essence she needs to survive. Her routine is upended when Seth Mortensen, a reclusive fantasy author she has long admired, arrives in town for a signing at her store, stirring feelings she cannot easily act on. At the same time, other immortals in her circle of friends and rivals begin dying under mysterious, inexplicable circumstances, and Georgina is pulled into investigating the deaths, forcing her to navigate both the supernatural underworld and her growing, complicated attraction to Seth.
