Overview
Georgina Kincaid is a complete six-novel urban fantasy series by Richelle Mead, following a succubus working an office job by day in modern Seattle while navigating an underworld of vampires, demons, and other immortal beings by night. Confirmed a separate, unrelated universe from Mead's other admitted series, Vampire Academy, Bloodlines, and Dark Swan: a different protagonist and premise, with no shared characters or continuity. Georgina maintains a cover job at a Seattle bookstore while secretly tempting mortal men into sin on Hell's behalf, and the opening novel, Succubus Blues (2007), centers on a string of mysterious deaths among the city's immortals surfacing around a visit from her favorite author. The series ran through Succubus Revealed (2011), and one installment, Succubus Heat, placed among Publishers Weekly's Best Books of 2009 in its reader's-choice poll. Fox television acquired film and television rights to Succubus Blues, though no adaptation has been produced.
