Synopsis
Gypsy Beaumont is thirteen and waiting for her savvy, the magical talent every Beaumont receives at that age. When it comes, it is not what she expected: she sees blurred glimpses of the past and the future. At the same time her family learns that her difficult, non-magical Grandma Pat has Alzheimer's disease and must come to live with them. A strange turn of events then flips every family member's savvy to its opposite, and the trip to bring Grandma home becomes chaotic. Gypsy has to deal with her new power, her unpredictable relatives, and an unfamiliar grandmother, and she learns what family means.
