Synopsis
Jet Owens, the aunt of the Owens family, senses that she has only seven days left to live. She is working in a library when she learns of it and wants to save a young man's life, and her efforts pull in her sister Franny, her niece Sally and Sally's daughters, and a long-lost brother. The family has lived under a curse in matters of love for more than three hundred years. Together the women set out to break it, travelling from Paris to London and then to the English countryside where their ancestor Maria Owens first practiced magic, with little time to spare.
