Synopsis
The Book That Broke the World continues directly from the events of the first novel, following Evar Eventari as he is forced to flee the vast library that has been the only home he has ever known and confront the unfamiliar dangers of the outside world for the first time. Meanwhile Livira Page finds herself trapped within a ghost world, a strange, unstable reflection of reality connected to the library, where she searches for a book she herself once wrote, a volume rumored to be the single true threat capable of unmaking the library entirely. As both Evar and Livira pursue their separate, disorienting paths, the true scale of the conflict simmering beneath the library's endless shelves begins to come into sharper focus.
