Synopsis
The Crippled God is the tenth and final novel in the Malazan Book of the Fallen series. Battered after a brutal encounter with the alien K'Chain Nah'ruk, the Bonehunters continue their grueling march toward the distant land of Kolanse under the command of Adjunct Tavore Paran, an unassuming, tactically brilliant woman with no magical gifts of her own who nonetheless intends, against all reasonable odds, to challenge the gods themselves over a wrong she believes must finally be answered, whatever the cost proves to be to herself or to the exhausted, fiercely loyal army that has followed her this far across a broken world.
