Synopsis

Alone and hunted, Wynter Moorehawke travels through dangerous forests to find the rebel Prince Alberon, while powerful factions converge on his camp and the wolf-like Loups-Garous lurk as a fresh threat. When Razi and Christopher catch up with her, the reunited group must seek shelter with Christopher's adoptive people, the Merron, who have struck an uneasy alliance with their traditional enemy. As Alberon's true plans stay unclear, Wynter and her companions are forced to question who can still be trusted.
