Synopsis

The Dream Thieves is the second novel in the Raven Cycle and continues directly from the first book, shifting focus toward Ronan Lynch and his secret ability to pull physical objects out of his own dreams. As Blue and the Raven Boys continue their search for the sleeping Welsh king Glendower along the region's ley line, a mysterious figure known as the Gray Man arrives in Henrietta hunting for something called the Greywaren, unaware that it is Ronan himself rather than an object. The danger multiplies when another boy, Kavinsky, is revealed to share Ronan's dream-pulling ability and begins using it recklessly, straining the magical energy of the forest of Cabeswater and the ley line that the group depends on for their quest.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
