Synopsis
In the concluding volume of the Traitor Son Cycle, the allied forces of the Wild and of the kingdoms of men and women unite against a being known as Ash, who seeks control over the mystical gates linking their world to the wider hermetical universe. The Red Knight, now a figure of far greater standing than the mercenary captain introduced at the series' start, leads this uneasy coalition into the war's final phase, as former rivals set aside old grievances to face the shared threat, with control of the gates, and the fate of both the Wild and human civilization, hanging in the balance.
