Synopsis

The Green Man's Heir is the first novel in the Green Man series and follows Daniel Mackmain, a traveling woodworker who is secretly the son of a dryad, as he tries to keep his supernatural heritage hidden in a modern world of CCTV cameras and social media. While he is working near a site in Derbyshire, a young woman is murdered nearby, and Dan comes to realize that the crime is connected to the hidden magical world he was born into rather than to any ordinary explanation. Because of his unique ability to perceive the truth behind the killing, Dan may be the only person capable of understanding what really happened, drawing him into an investigation that forces him to draw on both his human upbringing and his uncanny inheritance.
