Synopsis

The Green Man's Foe is the second novel in the Green Man series and picks up after the events of the first book, following Daniel Mackmain as he takes what looks like a straightforward job helping with the renovation of a historic house in the Cotswolds. He soon discovers that old, malicious supernatural forces are active at the site and have formed an alliance with someone in the present day. Unlike in the previous book, Dan is working far from his usual support network of allies and has to navigate the threat largely on his own, learning along the way how much danger the hidden world can pose without anyone else to rely on, and that other people around him are keeping secrets of their own about the uncanny.
