Synopsis

The Green Man's Silence is the third novel in the Green Man series and follows Daniel Mackmain as he travels to East Anglia to stay with Finele Wicken and her family, who share his awareness of the supernatural world hidden within the everyday one. While there, Dan discovers that something is wrong in the depths of the Fens, where creatures he has previously known only from folk tales are growing restless and increasingly hostile. He has to work out whether he can calm these distressed beings before they turn dangerous to the people living nearby, in a landscape where the ancient forests the Green Man once watched over have long since been cleared and replaced by water and farmland.
